An official confirmation is awaited about his inclusion in the Superstar’s 159th film

The expectations surrounding the untitled Rajini-Ranjith film is unsurprisingly huge and the makers have been successful in keeping information pertaining to it under wraps.
Recently, the names of Radhika Apte and Nayanthara surfaced in filmi circles, as it is speculated that one among them will play the female lead in the film, though nothing has been finalised yet. The latest we hear is that actor-filmmaker JD Chakravarty might be roped in to the film to play the antagonist.
The veteran has done few films in Tamil and an official confirmation is awaited about his inclusion in the Superstar’s 159th film. It was heard recently that Rajini was impressed with the Malayalam film Bhaskar The Rascal which had Chakravarty in a negative role.
