Sivakarthikeyan to play a woman in his next film

Some actors like Kamal Haasan and Vikram go to any extent to suit the characters they play. Vikram donned female avatar for an important scene in Kandhaswamy. Much before Chiyaan, Kamal Haasan appeared as a female character attired in a nine-yard saree for his role in Avvai Shanmughi.

Hollywood makeup artiste Michael Westmore flew to Chennai for achieving Kamal’s look then. Perhaps taking a cue from the Ulaganayagan, the buzz is that Sivakarthikeyan will be essaying a lady in his upcoming, yet-to-be-titled movie which is directed by Bhagyaraj Kannan, a former associate of Sundar C and Atlee. Sivakarthikeyan is expected to appear in several scenes as a woman.

Noted makeup artiste Sean Foot (from the company WETA), known for his Hollywood movie Lord of the Rings who was roped in by Shankar, the showman of Tamil cinema for his film I, has been brought on board by Sivakarthikeyan. Talks are on with Samantha to play the female lead. While Siva’s close friend Raja is producing the film, it has PC Sreeram handling the camera, Anirudh is scoring the music and Resul Pookutty is the sound designer.
