A man claiming to be Mukesh Chhabra has been calling actors
Mumbai: There are a lot of phoneys and impostors out there in the real world, tricking and scamming the innocent. Director Anurag Kahsyap recently took to his social media page to warn others of a certain man who has been calling actors claiming to be Mukesh Chhabra.
The ‘Bombay Velvet’ director posted, “Beware! Somebody claiming to be Mukesh Chhabra is messaging actors from +1(626) 370-9053. Kindly refrain from engaging with him. Neither Mr Chhabra nor any member of MCCC is associated with this.”
This isn’t the first time a fraudster has tried to trick innocent aspiring actors, there have been several instances in the past as well where actors have fallen prey to scam artists.
