Google Glass 2: The next version to be rugged, foldable, waterproof
Google Glass, the wearable that has made ripples in the technology world for being one of the first smart wearable, is rumoured to be releasing the next version. Rumoured as the Glass Enterprise Edition, Google is working on making the smart glasses better than the earlier version. The Glass 2 is said to sport a foldable option with a rugged and weatherproof body.
Sentinel Republic reports that Google is aiming the release of the Google Glass Enterprise Edition towards enterprise consumers, since they will find it more appealing than regular consumers. The device was rumoured earlier and codenamed as GG1 while it was being passed at the FCC, speculating the release of Google Glass 2.
Though the appearance would be similar to the one that is already around, the device is expected to be rugged, weatherproof and highly portable (foldable). The next version of the Glass is expected to withstand raindrops, making it water-resistant, considering the amount of exposure the device is expecting to get when using.
Google has not disclosed any information about the product or the release date.
