Karnataka: IAS officer Srivatsa Krishna shunted out of IT department
Bengaluru: Carrying out a major shake-up in the bureaucracy, the Siddaramaiah government on Wednesday transferred 17 IAS officers including the controversial IT and BT secretary, Srivatsa Krishna. Mr Krishna has been made the new e-governance secretary attached to department of personnel and administrative reforms.
Sources said Mr Krishna came under scrutiny for some of his articles written in a newspaper. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah was upset with him for not showing enough respect to him on a couple of occasions, they said. IAS officer V. Manjula will take over as secretary, IT,BT and S&T while Dr Nagambika Devi will be principal secretary, RDPR.
Mr Krishna has been made the new e-governance secretary attached to the department of personnel and administrative reforms. Sources in the government said that Mr Krishna
came under scrutiny for some of his articles written in a newspaper. They also said Mr Siddaramaiah was upset with him for disrespecting him on a couple of occasions.

Ashokananda-MD, North East Karnataka Road Transport Corporation; Ms Sowjanya-Project Administrator, Karnataka Health System Development and Reform Project and project director, National Health Mission; Mohammed Salahuddin-Special deputy commissioner-I Bengaluru Urban District; Salma K.
