WhatsApp introduces three new user-friendly features
WhatsApp is trying its level best to impress its users with several updates each day. Introducing user-friendly features seem to act like a relief factor for many, thus allowing you to stay connected with friends and family as per your convenience.
Many a times it so happens that unwanted people keep sending unnecessary messages via WhatsApp. The blue ticks option works like a spy tool for the sender and the recipient is indirectly forced to reply back. No doubt, WhatsApp offers its users an option to turn off the chat receipts, but continuous pings may flood your inbox with several spam messages as well.

But wait! Don’t worry, WhatsApp has a solution for this too! The social messaging app has released a new 2.12.194 beta version, which helps Android users to customise your online notifications. Media reports state that WhatsApp has added the customised Mute option to individual chats in its 2.12.194 beta version.
You can 'Mute' message notifications on individual chat windows for 8 hours, 1 week or a year. A report by techshout stated that WhatsApp will also allow you to to customise ringtones for WhatsApp chats and calls.
The recently released beta version allows its users to mark ‘read messages as unread’, which won’t allow your contacts to keep a track on what time did you receive and read their WhatsApp message.
As reported earlier, WhatsApp hasn’t finalised the low data usage option yet. However, media reports speculate the availability of this feature for WhatsApp calls in the next few months.
