Xiaomi is celebrating the anniversary week in India and has already announced the Mi 4i 32GB variant for Rs 14,999. Apart from this, there are some more unannounced surprises that will be thrown up during the seven days. However, Xiaomi has confirmed that they will be launching the Mi Headphones in India. The headphones are priced at Rs 5,499 in India and the sale will commence soon.
The Mi Headphones are crafted for superior audio quality, can be used for professional setups as well as on an airplane. They come with replaceable (and spare) ear cups/cushions for on ear and over-the-ear preferences and can be carried along in a bundled carry case.
The Mi Headphones feature a set of large 50mm drivers, encased in a gold finished aluminium enclosure with grilles on the rear. The Kevlar fiber cables are detachable and can be used for audio players as well as smartphones (with mic).
The headphones feature 3D audio and dual-damping system for ambient noise reduction. The headphones weigh in at 220g, feature comfortable leather headbands and are completely foldable for portability.
Apart from the Mi Headphones, Xiaomi is also launching the Mi In-ear Headphones, which is made from aerospace-grade metal diaphragms with a sandwich design. The in-ear headphones will be available for a mere Rs 999.
