TAJAC chalked out a week-long agitation to put pressure on the Centre and AP government
Hyderabad: Members of Telangana Advocates’ Joint Action Committee on Tuesday staged a dharna in front of the Bar Council of AP in the HC premises demanding separate High Court and Bar Council for TS.
The TAJAC chalked out a week-long agitation to put pressure on the Centre and the AP government for creation of the separate HCs and Bar Councils. As part of the agitation, the advocate fraternity from TS protested before the Bar Council by carrying placards demanding separate HC and bar council for TS,
S Satyam Reddy, G Mohan Rao, K Goverdhan Reddy, P Krishna Reddy and T Sriranga Rao the leaders of the TAJAC demanded the High Court Registry to list the cases pertaining to Telangana before the judges belonging to the state in the existing common High Court.
They said that the TAJAC has decided to stage dharna before the state BJP office and submit a representation to the state BJP president here on July 22 and also to hold protest at the camp office of AP chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu here on July 24 and to convene a round table conference inviting all party leaders, judges, lawyers and others here on July 25.
