Telangana chief secretary asks HMR for land details
The delay over acquiring these properties is affecting work on the Metro Rail
Hyderabad: For the second time, chief secretary of Telangana, Rajiv Sharma asked Hyderabad Metro Rail managing director N.V.S. Reddy for a list of properties meant for acquisition that were stuck in litigation.
Mr Reddy told the chief secretary that 50 properties across Begumpet and Ameerpet corridors were in the final stages of acquisition for the Metro rail. The delay over acquiring these properties is affecting work on the Metro Rail.
Mr Sharma said if he had the list of properties stuck in litigation the advocate-general could pursue them in court.
