Sushma Swaraj removes ‘Foreign Minister’ from Twitter bio

New Delhi: In an unsual turn of events, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj's bio on Twitter no longer states her designation.

The sudden change comes at a time when the opposition has been demanding Swaraj’s resignation for helping former IPL chief Lalit Modi to obtain British travel documents.

Earlier on Wednesday, the leader tweeted she would reveal the name of a senior Congress leader who lobbied with her for a diplomatic passport for a leader accused in the coal scam.

Former minister of state for coal (MoS) Santosh Bagrodia has been named as an accused in the coal scam and summoned to appear before a special CBI judge on August 18.
