Spiritual spaces: we need to know how energies flow inside our homes
Your connectivity with God is controlled by your space — your own house where you live. Connectivity with God has different meanings to different people. For some it means going to a temple or a religious place, for a few, it means helping those in need and for the rest it means sitting in a secluded corner of the house in an effort to make the ultimate connection. Those who have experienced the connectivity with the supreme power describe it as realising their higher self. When you are submerged into your own self you are connected to your higher koshas (Vigyanmaya and Anandmaya) and experience ‘ananda,’ which is the true experience of Godliness.
This experience of ananda causes your birth, runs the whole world and helps in connecting with God. When you are established in this state, you become a co-creator and you can tap the powers of creation lying within you to create your own world. Ancient experts on Vastu Shastra were so well-versed in this art that they were able to create such building structures also known as mandirs, wherein the moment you enter, a particular effect is generated in your subconscious mind. This effect leads to the manifestation of your desires.
In fact, when you visit an old temple or religious building, you naturally get connected with your higher koshas wherein you get the solutions for your problems. You can call it God’s blessings. Practically, it is the space chemistry of those places that alters the thought patterns inside your deeper subconscious mind. A similar effect can also be created in your house. Location of the entrance, puja room, colours, lights, paintings, sculptures and interior objects placed in your home play a vital role, as documented research on Vastu Shastra has proved that the built up space around you (your home) directly affects your subconscious mind.
The reason why many people, who have been meditating for hours daily but have not experienced inner peace indicate the imbalance in the Northeast Vastu zone at their respective homes. As per Directions of Alchemy in Vastu Shastra, Northeast is the vastu zone of one’s mind. It governs your connectivity with Anadamaya kosha. North-northeast and East-northeast are the two vastu zones lying on either side of it. They govern your connectivity with Vigyanmaya and Manomaya koshas respectively. If there are imbalances like shades of pink or red, toilet, store or kitchen in these positions at your home then you can never feel connected with your higher self.
And this results in lack of happiness and fulfillment in life. Similarly, if your puja room is placed in the vastu zone of expenditure and wastage, i.e., South-southwest, all your efforts to get connected will go to waste. On the other hand, when you place your puja room in Northeast vastu zone, you feel connected. Just by placing a symbol of your Ishta Devta in that direction will also make you feel connected with him.
We all can experience the ultimate connection. All we need is to be aware of the space around us and how energies flow inside our homes. Then we will not only be connected with the Divine Power but with his blessings and create more love, happiness and prosperity in our lives.
