Brahmanandam’s conditions and high price were the reasons to replace him in Dictator

According to sources, comedian Prudhvi will be replacing Brahmanandam in the upcoming film Dictator that stars Balakrishna. Srivaas is the director, while Anjali and Sonali Chauhan are the female leads.
The makers had apparently opted for Brahmanandam initially for a lengthy comic role. “But Brahmanandam put a lot of conditions and also his fees was very high, so there was no other choice for the makers but to opt for someone else at the last minute,” says a source, adding, “The film’s shooting started on Monday and the makers were afraid that though they had accepted some of his conditions, shooting might not go smoothly. That’s why they roped in Prudhvi.”
