Is this real Upendra?

One of the most talented directors and versatile actors, Real Star Upendra has yet done something different yet again! Just weeks before the release of his directorial venture Uppi 2, the tagline has taken the industry by storm. Yes, a real storm has erupted with his different approach announcing his grand comeback. Ever since the audio of the film (which was recently) launched at his private resort in style, it has created a new buzz!

A song, penned by Upendra and composed by Gurukiran, has evoked a mixed response. While his ‘real’ fans are overjoyed by it, the words penned by Uppi has paved the way for unwanted controversy. A few people from the industry are divided, and mainly Navasara Nayaka Jaggesh has been relentlessly tweeting against the song alleging that Uppi has crossed the limit by pulling the legs of other leading actors in the song.

The war of words exchanged between Jaggesh and Uppi’s fans on the micro blogging site, has created some tension but Uppi has maintained that it has nothing to do with any actors and is a situational song for the movie. Even Gurukiran maintains that it is not a full length song but a dialogue in the movie, which he composed as a song that is apt for the script. However, some are ‘real’ly finding it hard to digest this Uppi2 (uppittu)!
