Pakistan theatre owners asked to stay on high alert after hate messages against 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan'

A few moviegoers aren't happy with the Pakistan Censor Board chairman's decision

Mumbai: Salman Khan’s ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ has been minting money at the box office and has even crossed borders and released in Pakistan, with some minor cuts. However a few people are not happy with Pakistan Censor Board chairman Fakhr-r-Alam’s decision to pass the film, as they feel it has a few elements that are anti-Pakistan and anti-Islam.

However Alam has earlier assured movie goers that there were no such elements in the film, and they could highlight any anti-Pakistan content they found in the film. He even encouraged them to watch two other Pakistani films which released with ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ that weekend.

Responding to the agitation of Pakistani movie-goers he too to twitter to say, “Well NOW I am getting LIFE threats…I guess every Pakistani who is buying tickets is also a traitor then (sic)”

After receiving death threats Alam has appealed to theatre owners in Pakistan to be on high alert, and beef up their security.
