Aamir Khan’s nephew Pablo roped in as AD for 'Dangal'

He is actively involved in all aspects of film-making process- right from recee to sourcing properties

Mumbai: Aamir Khan’s nephew Pablo had expressed a desire of joining films and is dream is soon to be fulfilled. It was Pablo’s father Mansoor Khan who gave Aamir one of his most memorable performances in ‘Jo Jeeta Wo Sikandar’ and introduced him in ‘Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak’.

Pablo is assisting Nitesh Tiwari on ‘Dangal’ and is actively involved in all aspects of film-making process- right from recee to sourcing properties. Eventually he plans to pursue writing and direction.

 

The film is pushed a little further to Septemeber because its cast is still not in place. Aamir gained 15-20 kgs for the role and has no qualms waiting for a good part of this year to lose all the weight. The actor is also learning wrestling and mastering the Haryanvi language for the film.

The movie is a biopic based on the life of wrestler Mahavir Phogat, the father of Indian women wrestlers Geeta and Babita Kumari Phogat. Mahavir coached Geeta to win many accolades, including the Bronze medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics.
