The SDR-rupee rate will be based on this rate, said RBI
The one-rupee note was recently re-introduced after a gap of 20 years
Mumbai: The Reserve Bank of India on July 22 fixed the reference rate of rupee at 63.5283 against US dollar and 69.6016 for the euro as against 63.6506 and 68.9081 respectively on July 21.
According to a RBI statement, the exchange rates for the pound and the yen against the rupee were quoted at 99.1931 and 51.38 per 100 yen, respectively, based on reference rates for the dollar and cross-currency quotes at noon. The SDR-rupee rate will be based on this rate, the statement added.
