There has been a strong buzz that Shahid Kapoor may quit Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, where he plays a judge. Sources believe that Shahid’s move may be triggered by his new bride Mira Rajput.
Says a close friend, “The two had a very rushed courtship and then a big, fat wedding in full public glare. Naturally, the two want to spend time with each other. Shahid especially wants to make the most of his time with Mira before he plunges back into his other professional commitments.”
Shahid and Lauren were brought on board to replace Remo D’souza and Madhuri Dixit. They wanted a celebrity with a sound knowledge of dance. Now that there’s word about Shahid wanting to quit, the producers are frantically trying to woo him back.
