At 50, Milind Soman wins Ironman title in ‘‘toughest’ triathlon in Zurich

Bollywood actor and model Milind Soman successfully completed the Ironman Triathlon held in Zurich, Switzerland on 19 July. Over the last few months, he has been training, swimming and cycling with one simple objective - to compete and complete Ironman.

The triathlon is considered one of the world's toughest races and had 2,000 participants which included seven Indians. The race comprises of a 3.8-km swim, 180.2-km bicycle and a 42.2-km run all of which must be completed within 17 hours. 50-year old Milind Soman completed the triathlon in 15 hours and 19 minutes.
