Visakhapatnam: At least eight persons were crushed to death after a speeding RTC bus hit their autorickshaw near Marikavalasa area of Visakhapatnam on Monday morning.
As per reports, the bus hit the auto from the rear, damaging it.
Both the bus and auto were heading towards Vizianagaram from Vizag city.
Soon after the incident took place, locals present at the spot tried to attack the bus driver.
The deceased are yet to identified, however the injured have been shifted to KG hospital in the city.
Two of the injured are said to be in a critical condition.
