WhatsApp adds a new feature to its call settings

WhatsApp has introduced this feature for selective Android handsets

The introduction of WhatsApp voice calls seemed to be a great surprise for many. However, the realisation that WhatsApp voice calls do consume a lot of your Internet data decreased the number of VOIP calls eventually.

WhatsApp seems to have a solution for this!

WhatsApp has officially rolled out its new 2.12.183 version with improved call settings. The tech giant has added the 'Low Data Usage' tab to the ‘Chats and Calls’ option for selective Android handsets. Media reports state that clicking on the Low Data Usage option doesn't degrade the quality of voice calls via WhatsApp.

A report by myce stated that clicking on the 'Low Data Usage' option saves around 25 per cent of bandwidth. As reported earlier, iOS users can also test this feature on the 2.12.5 beta version.
