The Delhi Chief Minister was inaugurating the first 'Aam Aadmi Clinic' in the national capital
New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who inaugurated the first 'Aam Aadmi Clinic' in the national capital on Sunday, said his government will open 1000 such clinics this year in the city.
"The poor will get very good service here. This is a prototype clinic, and we will open 1000 more clinics this year," said Kejriwal.
"This is a very happy occasion. This clinic has been setup at a very low cost, it has been setup at a cost of around Rs. 15-20 lakh, whereas earlier setting up a dispensary used to cost much higher. This government is an honest one and there is no corruption in its functioning," he added.
Meanwhile, one of the employees of the clinic, Bhavna Sharma, said the facilities offered by the clinic will be of great help to the locals.
"There are all kinds of medicines are available here like antibiotic, antacids, anti-diabetic. This clinic is open to all, this will be of great help to all those residing in slums nearby," she said.
