The grand audio launch of ‘Srimanthudu’ on Saturday was a gala event. The film’s teaser was released on Friday and it created enough buzz on social media. Photo: Viral Bhayani- After wrapping up the event, Shruti was seen interacting with fans and guests.
- Shruti will also be lending her voice for ‘Puli’. She recently recorded for a duet song with Vijay for the film which stars Sridevi. Sridevi is returning to Tamil cinema after a gap of more than two decades.
- According to a source, Zee Telugu has grabbed the satellite rights of the film for a record Rs 12 crore.
- This is the first time Mahesh and Shruti teamed up for 'Srimanthudu'. After delivering super hit with Mirchi, Koratala Siva is wielding the megaphone for this film.
- What can be more better than Shruti herself taking the centre stage and crooning a track or two? Shruti confidently sang few songs from the film, leaving audience completely mesmerized.
- While Mahesh essays the role of Harsha, a millionaire who is back to his roots and adopts a village, Shruti plays his love interest as Charusheela.
- Shruti picked a blue maxi for the event, one that she wore with a severe high ponytail and red lips. We wish she could have opted for something more fashionable which flaunted off her curves.
- Speaking at the do Mahesh said, "I'm big fan of Kamal Haasan garu. I've never thought I'd work with his daughter. Terrific performer, terrific dancer, terrific singer. She's very talented and did well in the film."
- Mahesh Babu might be Telugu superstar but other than father-yesteryear superstar Krishna, he is a huge fan of Kamal Haasan.
