Baahubali is going strong

Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan released on Friday but the impact is very low in Hyderabad, as compared to Baahubali. Though the film released in limited screens in Telangana, the response was average on Friday. “With positive reviews and word-of-mouth publicity, we are hoping the film will pick up in the coming days,” says Dilip Tandon, the distributor of the film.

Dilip adds, “Baahubali is still going strong and we didn’t get any additional screens. If the film releases in a big way then it’s a different situation.” He can’t say anything about the collections till Monday or Tuesday. “It is still too early to talk about the revenue for the first day. The revenue will be definitely high on Saturday and Sunday. However, I am satisfied with the way the film is doing,” Dilip says.
