Vidya Balan is one of the few actresses in B-town who says it like it is. Ask her what a typical day in her life would be and she says, “Of course when I’m shooting it’s different but when I’m not, I like being laid-back. I wake up at around 8 am these days, which is pretty early for me. Before marriage I would wake up at 10 am. These days I’m up early and some exercise follows my morning chai.
Siddharth and I try to make it a point to spend some time together every day by ourselves, even if it’s just catching a new release together.” Speaking more about the man of the house, Vidya continues, “Siddharth has a very organised lifestyle, so I try to keep up with him. And it’s weird because, before I met him, I used to think I’m the most organised person around.
I like doing my things on my own, without any help, at my own pace.” She does take his opinion on work matters though. “We definitely discuss scripts and offers. His opinion surely matters and makes work decisions easier.”
