Salman Khan's 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' records a festive day 2, earns 36.5 crore
Mumbai: 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' released to a housefull audience all over the country and the chartbuster track 'Selfie Le Le Re' was Salman Khan's big introduction song. With more than 80 percent of advance booking and running houseful shows in single screens and multiplexes, the film managed to rake in Rs 27.25 crore on Day 1. Eros International and SKF's film recorded a festive day 2 (saturday), it earned Rs. 36.5 crore.

On Eid, Salman Khan has given a treat to his fans with a film that is garnering great word of mouth. With a strong story line and Kabir Khan’s ability to make the audience laugh and cry, Bajrangi Bhaijaan is expected to garner big numbers on weekend NBOC.

The actor, who has not yet visited any theatre to check audiences’ reaction, said his sister and friends have sent him clips from various halls. In an interview, he said, “It is not ok if the film does well commercially and doesn’t get appreciation. But if the film doesn’t do well and if the appreciation is more I would prefer that.”
Today, more footfalls are expected at the movies and Sunday’s collection should be bigger than opening day. Here’s our review of the film.
