Ajay Devgn-starrer Drishyam, despite being only a few days away from release, hasn’t begun promotions. Reason? According to sources, the delay was due to Ajay, who was holidaying in London, followed by the hype and aggressive promotions of Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
Says a trade analyst, “With Bajrangi’s buzz, it was important that Drishyam creates a space for itself.” Ajay Devgn, however, is not perturbed. He says, “Every film has its niche audience. I’m very happy with the business of Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Salman is a dear friend and will always be one,” says Ajay.
The actor avoids talking about the delayed promotions of his film though. Apparently, team Drishyam that had to skip the city tours in India, will start promoting it on reality TV shows. While Ajay is confident of pulling crowds, producers are anxious about the tough competition the film will have to face.
