Vijay Antony busy shooting Pichaikaran
Music director-actor Vijay Antony, who was impressive with his performance in his last film, India Pakistan, is now busy shooting Pichaikaaran. Talking about his next, Vijay says, “I think I've made a good decision. With films like Saitaan, Hitler, Thirudan and Yaman, I’m feeling quite refreshed! The film will be directed by Poo Sasi.
We have seven days of shoot left, and I am composing music for this film as well. Currently, we are shooting the climax scene at the banks of the Cooum sewage near Kasi theatre.” He adds, “In the film, I play a beggar and the film revolves around his life. Diana Titus from Kerala plays the female lead. Whether I really am who I claim to be forms the crux of the storyline. In our busy lives, nobody has time thinking about a paltry beggar and his life. This film will unravel a mystery behind him.”
Vijay also says he would love to direct, provided a good script comes along his way. “Direction is on cards, but not immediately. I am planning to do a sequel to Salim next year, but I am not directing it,” adds Vijay.
