Going by what sources say, Lingusamy is planning to start the shooting of the Vishal-starrer Sandakozhi 2 from the second week of September. One hears that the script work is taking place and the director will make an official announcement soon. It looks like Sandakozhi 2 will have Vishal attracting the ‘B’ and ‘C’ centre audiences after a long time like the original did.
It is said that Imman has been roped in as the music director of the film, but nothing has been confirmed yet. Other actors who have been brought on the board include Raj Kiran, Soori and Meera Jasmine. Sources also add that the team is in talks with a couple of other heroines to play the female lead as well. Meanwhile, Vishal is currently working on Pandiraj’s untitled film and has also signed a film with director Muthiah.
