Rumours were abuzz that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be a part of Mani Ratnam’s next untitled Tamil directorial, featuring Karthi and Dulquer Salman in the lead roles. But now contrary to the rumours, Aishwarya won’t be part of the project. Sources say Mani Ratnam is yet to zero in on his heroine for the project, and we hear that the shoot of this project will start from December.
Sources add that the film was actually supposed to begin in September, but since Dulquer had a Malayalam film on his hands, the team is waiting for him to complete it. Meanwhile, the actress is currently busy shooting for her comeback film Jazbaa. It is a known fact that Aishwarya started her acting career with Mani Ratnam’s Iruvar and he’s close to the former Miss World as she has acted in Guru and Raavan as well.
