Watch: How this man is changing the design of the humble umbrella

The KAZbrella is an evolution of the conventional umbrella

Imagine this scenario: It's a dull rainy day and you're on the way to work. You get on to a crowded bus or train where the floor has already been made extra slippery from dripping umbrellas. Someone stands next to you whose holding a wet umbrella. Their umbrella presses up against your leg, soaking your trousers and bag and drips on the already wet floor. Could this scene be different?

Well, yes, you could quit your job or simply not use the public transport. But there a better solution to this common umbrella problem and Kazbrella seems to be that solution.

The KAZbrella is an evolution of the conventional umbrella. Through many years of research and engineering the designer has redesigned the mechanics of the umbrella whilst maintaining the familiar umbrella look. The KAZbrella is a patented reverse folding umbrella. He terms it: KAZbrella, how umbrellas should have been.

Aeronautical Engineer, Jenan Kazim has been working on perfecting the design of the KAZbrella, for over 10 years to ensure he does not bring another gimmicky umbrella to the market. Jenan worked at many companies as a Structural Engineer in the Offshore sector, travelling far and wide as part of his job. It was when he was visiting his mother-in-law, Joan, that the idea of the KAZbrella was born. She came into her house with a dripping wet umbrella not knowing where to put it or how to prevent it from dripping on the floor. Jenan has spent many years, dissected thousands of umbrellas and drunk countless cups of coffee perfecting his Inside Out umbrella.
