Salman Khan phenomena makes 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' almost sold out for the weekend
Mumbai: Salman Khan and Eid has a long history with box office hits and housefull boards outside a moviehall. 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' which released today has opened to almost housefull shows in single screens and multiplexes. According to reports, early trends suggest that the film is all set to take a bumper opening on day one at the box office.

When Salman Khan and Kabir Khan teamed up for 'Ek Tha Tiger', it was one of the biggest hits that year. With 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan', the expectations are now bigger. Exhibitors are having a great time this morning with large number of people queuing up outside the theatres.
According to a report in Box Office India, the film has witnessed 70 percent advance booking in Delhi and the count is only getting bigger. Punjab, which generally doesn’t witness a great ratio of advance booking, has seen a big change with Bajrangi Bhaijaan. In West Bengal, the advance booking is tremendous and for the Saturday shows they are most likely to be sold out. Rajashtan has around 175 screens for this film and will achieve new records in that region.
For PVR, a leading multiplex chain, it has around 20 shows at each of their property all over the country. They too have witnessed massive advance booking for the weekend. Big and small centres have got around 95 percent advance booking for the weekend and by evening, it is most likely to be sold out.
With this kind of a buzz around the film, 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' will not only witness a bumper opening but it could also be the fastest to touch Rs 200 crore.
