Hyderabad: Symbiosis Foundation has signed MoUs with leading companies such as Reliance Capital, MAN Trucks, HDFC Bank and Future Group for its upcoming University of Applied Sciences in Indore. Symbiosis University of Applied Sciences (SUAS), which will be established on 30 acre land with 10 lakh square feet built-up area by 2016, will be India’s first residential skill development university.
It will provide skill based degree programmes, in line with industry needs, in automotive, construction, manufacturing, retail, banking, finance and IT sectors. The MoUs with companies will help the university to provide skill based and on-job training.The MoU signing ceremony was presided over by Padma Bhushan and Symbiosis founder and president Dr S.B. Mujumdar.
