Hyderabad: Two Somalians held for fabricating visas, permits
Police said Abdi Rahmaan reported as a refugee, but was not having any passport
Hyderabad: The police arrested two Somalians, including an MBA student, for fabricating fake residential permits and visas for foreigners. The arrested men are Abdi Rahmaan Ibrahim Libaan, 25, who has been illegally staying in the country, and Abdirahman Abukar Haji Osman, 22, an MBA student of St Mary’s college.
Police said that following a tip off that the duo were fabricating fake residential permits and visas, a team arrested them. Police also seized fake documents, duplicate rubber stamps, seals etc from their residence.
Police said Abdi Rahmaan reported as a refugee, but was not having any passport. He stated that he came to India in December 2009. Abdirah-man Abukar came to Hyderabad in 2009, finished a language course at the OU and then joined Nizam College for B.Sc. He then went Somalia. Later, he came back to Hyderabad to do his MBA. Police sent both of them to judicial remand.
