Aneesh Menon describes his character in KL 10 Pathu as peculiar

Going by the trailer, Aneesh Menon, who comes from the Malabar region, effortlessly falls into the Malappuram slang while portraying his character, Yousuf, in Muhsin Perari’s upcoming film KL 10 Pathu. A typical Malappuram goalkeeper from a lesser known village by the Chaliyar River and a Barcelona fan, Aneesh Menon says his upcoming character can best be described as peculiar.
“Yousuf is a friend of Ahammed portrayed by Unni Mukundan. He is the odd one out in the group and doesn’t gel with anyone. He is the goalkeeper for the team Barcambakara, named after their favourite team, Barcelona. The story of KL 10 Pathu is set in Malappuram and progresses along three different tracks — football, romance and politics — simultaneously. It narrates the story of an unseen side of Malappuram,” says Aneesh. The film is expected to be an Eid release.
Another interesting movie in the pipeline for the actor is Rishi Sivakumar’s Kunchacko Boban starrer Valliyum Thetti Pulliyum Thetti which will showcase him in two different looks. “The story, produced under the banner of Achappu Movie Magic, takes place in the 90s and is a romantic flick. My character is called Jose and I play a confidante to Chakochan’s character who always accompanies the hero. The two looks I sport are very crucial to the storyline of the movie. I will be sporting a beard for the first look and as the story progresses from the 90s to 2016, my appearance changes. The specifics of the second look are yet to be confirmed. Manoj K Jayan, Renji Panicker, Aju Varghese and Saiju Kuruppu are also part of the film. I will be joining this project only later in the year and I have a couple of other projects in the pipeline before that. But, I don’t want to announce the projects yet as the dates are yet to be confirmed,” he adds.
