Actor-turned-filmmaker Madhupal is all set to mark his presence on the big screen, after a brief sabbatical, with a strong character role. The actor is back donning the role of a painter in the movie Tharakangale Sakshi directed by debutant Gopakumar Narayana Pillai.
According to Gopakumar, Madhupal will be playing the central character in the movie. “He plays John Zacharia in the film. He is a painter who used to take special sessions and classes for youngsters. John, who lost his wife and daughter in a mishap, has a particular agenda to fulfill in his life. That is when he comes across a youngster Jayakumar. The rest of the story narrates the relation of this duo,” says the director.
The Ozhimuri director was last seen in the Fahadh Fazil starrer Haram and as a corrupt politician in Sunny Wayne’s Saradhi.
