Shah Rukh Khan's first look from 'Raees' to be unveiled on July 17

Mumbai: The Eid weekend just keeps getting better. This weekend will not only see the release of Salman Khan’s ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ and the trailer of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Bajirao Mastani’, we will also see Shah Rukh Khan’s first look from his upcoming film ‘Raees’. The teaser of the film will be launched on digital platforms tonight.

A couple of months ago when Shah Rukh was shooting for ‘Raees’ he grew out a moustache and a beard for his character in the film. The film that is set in the 1980s era in Ahmedabad also marks the debut of Mahira Khan. From the looks of the on set pictures that have been doing the round on social media, it seems like SRK will be playing a Gujrati man in the film.

Produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar, the film which will see the 'Humsafar' star Mahira playing the wife of a gangster (Shah Rukh Khan), and will also feature critically-acclaimed actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui as a cop.

Shah Rukh is currently in Bulgaria shooting for Rohit Shetty’s ‘Dilwale’ which is scheduled to release on December 18, clashing with SLB’s ‘Bajirao Mastani’.
