He asked the companies operating in the Achyuthapuram SEZ to provide jobs to those who lost lands

Visakhapatnam: Anakapalle MP, Muttamsetti Srinivas Rao, had asked, the companies operating in the Achyuthapuram SEZ to provide jobs to those who lost lands. He held a meeting with the representatives of the companies at the district collectorate here on Tuesday, and asked them to provide employment to at least to one person of the family who lost land for the SEZ.
“Land in around 28 villages coming under, Achyuthapuram and Rambilli mandals, have been allotted to various units of the SEZ due to which many lost their livelihood. Companies should give priority to those who lost lands and livelihood while recruiting staff. There are so many technically eligible youngsters in these villages for the jobs at these companies,” he said and added that the government is committed to provide all facilities for these villagers. He asked the company representatives to notify the job vacancies to the district collectorate through APIIC office.
APIIC executive director, Raghunath, said that land has been allotted to around 64 units, of them around 44 in de-notified area in, Achyuthapuram SEZ.
