Pudukkottai: Pudukkottai City Rotary Club and Alangudi Central Rotary Club jointly organised the birth anniversary of late chief minister K Kamaraj and Educational Growth Day (Kalvi Valarchi Thinam) at the municipal middle school at Pudukkottai on Tuesday.
Sports and games event were organised to mark the occasion in which schoolchildren participated. A score of students offered floral tributes to the portrait of the late Kamaraj. Among others, Pudukkottai city Rotary club president Naina Mohamad, Alangudi Central Rotary club president S A Raja, president of the Public Welfare Association for Road Accident Prevention and Rescue, Maruti K. Mohanraj, Pudukkottai District Science Movement president M Veeramuthu and school teachers participated.
