Sushant Singh Rajput denies signing Hindi remake of 'The Fault In Our Stars'

Mumbai: Ever since the official remake of the hit Hollywood film ‘The Fault in Our Stars’ was announced rumours were abuzz that Sushant Singh Rajput would essay the role of cancer patient Augustus Waters in the film.

While it was speculated that Sushant would play the male lead, Deepika Padukone would be playing his leading last as Hazel Grace Lancaster. However Sushant took to Twitter to put an end to such rumours.

He posted, “I have not been approached for ‘fault in out stars’ remake neither I have signed any other film post Dhoni biopic” (sic)

Now that it has been confirmed from the actor himself that he won’t be a part of the project, we wonder which Bollywood heartthrob will be paired with Deepika in the film based on the bestselling book by John Green with the same title.
