Alia Bhatt to slip into a bikini for ‘Shandaar’ trailer

Mumbai: Alia Bhatt is anything but a quitter. The hard working actress lost oodles of weight before stepping in the shoes of Shanaya for Karan Johar’s ‘Student of The Year’ and the actress has yet again shed those extra pounds to sizzle in a bikini for Vikas Bahl’s ‘Shandaar’.

According to reports the actress approached celerity trainer Yasmin Karachiwala last year to get a chiselled body, which was highly because of Vikas's demand. The director was very particular about her look in the film.

The versatile actress followed a strict diet routine and fitness regime religiously to get the body she was hoping for. She even refused to eat anything but what had been recommended.

Alia will be seen opposite newly married Shahid Kapoor in the film. She even came for his wedding reception that took place in Mumbai to bless the newly weds.
