NASA has released its new Mars Trek tool, which helps you get detailed information about each and every corner of Mars. Allowing you to choose between 2D and 3D viewing angle, the Mars Trek is an interactive map, which can be zoomed in to a resolution of about a dozen kilometers per centimetre.
If you are a first time user of such a ‘Live’ map, the ‘Bookmarks’ tool can assist you. This tool displays the detailed information about Spirit Rover's Landing Site, to help you start from scratch. You can mark your favourite spot with the help of ‘Layers’ tool. It will help you layer images captured by several orbiters.
