Politicos unite against TD MLA Chintamaneni Prabhkar, demand arrest
Vijayawada: The Poura Spandana Vedika’s round table meeting led by Kolanukonda Sivaji demanded the arrest of MLA Chintamaneni Prabhkar. The meeting was held at the press club on Saturday.
Leaders of various political parties requested the government to take immediate action against the MLA. On the occasion, Kolanukonda Sivaji questioned the government as to why no action was taken against the MLA even when sufficient visual evidences were available.
YSR Congress leader P. Goutam Reddy said that the government was looting the public. He raised questions over the immediate arrest of YSRC MLA B. Nagi Reddy, but a relatively lackluster attitude of the government in case of the TD MLA.
Speaking on the occasion, PCC Mahila Congress president Sunkara Padmasree said the government had failed to provide security to women. CPI leader P. Durga Bhavani said the incident reflects the condition of women officials under the Telugu Desam rule in the state.
