Mulayam Singh Yadav threatened me: IPS officer Amitabh Thakur
The IPS officer said Mr Yadav had threatened him with serious consequences if he did not mend his ways
Lucknow: Senior IPS officer Amitabh Thakur, on Saturday, submitted a complaint against Samajwadi Party president Mulayam Singh Yadav for allegedly threatening him on phone. Mr Thakur, accompanied by his wife Nutan Thakur, went to the Hazratganj police station to submit the complaint and lodge an FIR but the police officials refused to lodge the FIR without investigating the matter. Mr Thakur later told reporters, “I felt I should stand up for myself and so I decided to file this complaint against Mr Yadav”.
The IPS officer said Mr Yadav had threatened him with serious consequences if he did not mend his ways.
