Hyderabad: Global scenarios impact on industries here has kept most sectors seeing slow improvement but the sector is largely hopeful.
Local industry which was lying low for the last couple of years will be doing better business with expansions taking place, according to insiders.
Among all, the automobile sector is performing the best while manufacturing is yet to catch up. However, for most of the sector, even after the return of the orders and goodwill, the actual growth in turnovers will be seen after a while.
“The global economy is not doing well currently. As a result, the manufacturing sector has not improved. The actual improvement will take some time, at least another six to eight months,” said Krishna Reddy, an engineering unit owner at Balanagar.
Strong indications like increased orders of heavy machinery from the state are seen elsewhere.
