Peru's transparent sleeping capsules have a terrifyingly awesome view
Are you bored of regular travel? Then you might want to try the Skylodge, a trio of transparent pods placed 400 feet (122m) above the ground on a cliff-face in the Peruvian Andes. (Picture Courtesy: Youtube/naturavive)- Although probably terrifying to some, the view of the Peruvian valley seems like it'd be worth it. What do you think?

- The suites feature six windows and four ventilation ducts to ensure a comfortable internal atmosphere.
- Despite their small size, the pods don't seem cramped on the inside.
- The package also includes breakfast and a gourmet dinner with wine. So much for an exerting climb!
- The unique experience called Natura Vive in Peru is organised by Skylodge Adventure.
- To get to the he suites you either need to hike through a trail with ziplines or climb 400 feet.
- Located near the city of Cuzco, the three 24 x 8 meter capsules, made from polycarbonate and aluminium, are operated by Peruvian tour company Natura Viva and overlook the spectacular Sacred Valley – a region renowned for its breathtaking scenery,
- The only catch is you will have to scale a nearly 1,000-foot cliff to get there.
- The pods are all-out luxurious: They measure a whopping 192 square feet -- about half the size of an average hotel room -- with plush beds, dining areas and bathrooms.
