Sharks are attracted to death metal music

This new method of luring the sharks could also be more environmentally friendly
What do angsty teens have in common with sharks? They both love death metal music. Matt Waller, a charter boat operator in South Australia's Port Lincoln, played AC/DC underwater, and the sharks became less aggressive. How adorable!
Reportedly, The two songs loved by the sharks are “You Shook Me All Night Long” and “Back in Black.” According to Huffington Post,
The sharks pick up on the sound itself, but they can also sense the music's low-frequency vibrations, which resemble the sound of struggling fish. All this part of a clip from the 2015 Shark Week special "Bride of Jaws."
The animal they were looking for, "Joan of Shark" is reportedly the largest great white ever electronically tagged in Australia. She is more than 16 feet long and may weigh up to 1.8 tons. She was tagged off the southern coast of Western Australia in April 2014 after coming close to a popular beach.
Sharks don’t exactly hear, but they can pick up vibrations via detectors in their bodies which give a sense of which direction the sound is coming from.
Apparently the tactic is common knowledge among shark hunters.
