Looks like Vijay’s films getting into problems one way or other is a routine affair! The latest issue revolves around his fantasy entertainer Puli, directed by Chimbudevan, facing plagiarism issues.
The big-budget mass movie starring Hansika and Shruti Haasan as Vijay’s heroines — as well as Sridevi, Sudheep, Prabhu and Nandita — was in the news recently when the much-expected first look and teaser was leaked by a miscreant prior to the planned official release on June 22. (Vijay’s birthday)
Recently, again, a fresh set of Puli’s stills (see the above picture) started doing the rounds on social media — and this also seems to be the handiwork of troublemakers, as the stills are yet to be unveiled by the associated production house.
Peeved by the unsolicited development, producers Shibu Thameen and PT Selvakumar of SKT Films have lodged a complaint with the Chennai City Police Commissioner S George to take stern action against those involved.
