Surender is scheduled to direct Ram Charan

Hyderabad: Director Surender Reddy has finished Kick 2, which is all set to release in August. The director’s earlier film Race Gurram was a big hit and the makers are confident that Kick 2 will also be a blockbuster. Sources say that the director will make a small film after Kick 2 releases, perhaps a remake of the Tamil film Goli Soda. Vijay Milton had directed the Tamil film and producer Lagadapati Sridhar has bought the Telugu rights. Sridhar might approach Surender to direct the film.
Meanwhile, Surender is scheduled to direct Ram Charan, but the actor is busy with another project. So the former might utilise the time to make the small film.
The Tamil film is about four street boys who reach the top when they grow up. Lagadapati Sridhar wants to introduce his son as one of the four boys and he is currently searching for actors for the other roles. If everything goes according to plan, the film may start in August.
