Hyderabad: The Opposition parties in AP have alleged that sand mining is being done by middlemen by exploiting SHG women.
YSRC spokesperson Ambati Rambabu explained that the middlemen were nothing, but influential members in the ruling TD, including its MLAs and other people’s representatives.
The Opposition YSRC is condemning the mafia in Krishna and Godavari Rivers. It is also blaming the Telugu Desam leaders of implementing a new scheme known as ‘counter case for case’.
Rambabu explained that when the victim went to the police station and filed a case, then the ruling party leaders filed a counter case against the victim and alleged misusing police officials in order to manipulate the issue. For that Prabhakar’s behaviour was the best example, he added.
