Omung Kumar is back in the spotlight

National Award-winning Mary Kom director Omung Kumar is back in the spotlight for his exceptional art direction for the new season of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Reloaded. “I design the Jhalak sets every year, but this season was different as the judges have changed and we were looking for decor which would stand out from the clutter of other shows,” Omung said.

“I have designed the set like a huge opera theatre, with a red and gold ornate façade. The audience will sit in three balconies. Now that Shahid (Kapoor) is on board, the judge’s backdrop had to look young, so there is a loat of cut mirror as the backdrop of their seats. All in all, it’s a huge, classy set,” Omung shared.
